I wholly agree with ladybug. These pictures are really fabulous! It recently struck me how little pictures I have of Vancouver and how many pictures I have of foreign places. I think the next time I'm in home, I should snap a few rolls of Vancouver.
BTW, what film did you use and about how long did you expose for?
Posted by: Mae on February 21, 2002 02:22 AMAwwww! Gee...thanks you guys! Umm...as for Mae's question: for the first three photos I used a tungsten slide film from Fuji (Fujichrome 64T Type II). Exposure was probably 4-6 seconds at f5.6. The last photo with the orangey cast was shot with Kodak EBX. :)

Where are your favourite places, in Vancouver, to take pictures?
Favourite places in Vancouver to take photos? Hmmm...such a tough call! I love nature so I do most of my shooting outside the city. But if I had to pick three places IN the city, I would say: Robson Street, Granville Island and Gastown. There's always lots of people and interesting things to shoot...on film, that is. :)
Posted by: Dave on February 22, 2002 11:55 PMOh! Gastown is lovely to take pictures of. Everyone juts seems to stroll along the streets in their own merry way :) I took some pics of gastown/chinatown the other day.

I'll be sure to check out Robson Street and Granville Island :)
