A dictionary definition...

Ever flipped through a dictionary lately? Perhaps you've seen the following definition in the latest edition?

UNPREPARED - un·pre·pared (adj.)
    1. without preparation; not prepared for [ant: prepared];
    2. lacking with intellectual equipment;
    3. not put in a state of preparedness;
    4. Dave has LSAT's this Saturday. (see also royally-screwed)

Yes sir-ree. LSAT's this Saturday.

If you have the time, please deposit/mail/send me your: prayers/vibes/good luck/well wishes/"get-well-soon" and "sorry to hear about your funeral" cards/or anything else you think would be appropriate. Would be much appreciated! Sorry no anthrax please.

Actually, if someone out there happens to have...I dunno...like a "(+10) Godly Obsidian Ring of Infinite Wisdom", sending that would also be nice too. :)

Ok on a COMPLETELY unrelated topic...

Dating survey: Do you think a man should open the car door for a woman even if he is parked in a stall between two cars? I used to say no, but Clara says yes. Your opinion? Write 'em in the comments...

Yes, a man should open the car door for the lady even if he is parked in a stall between two cars.

I've had that experience once , I tried to open the door, but my lady friend was nice enought to tell me to get the car out first and she will get in herself.

On a first date or in a relatively new relationship, I'd say open the car door. It's always very appreciated (or should be) by the girl and you'll score brownie points!! Even if it gets awkward, she'll appreciate the effort that much more.

On a second note, you can also give the ultimate test (I think this came from the movie "A Bronx Tale") If she leans over and unlocks your door, she's a keeper!

Make the attempt.

Any woman (person) worth keeping will recognize how silly it is to stand on 'tradition' in such an awkward position and appreciate your attempt.

Not making an effort or at least acknowledging the situation (perhaps saying.. 'Wow ~ that's a tight fit, let me pull the car out so you don't get dirty trying to squeeze into the car')is a definite no-no.

Oh and I think the movie was 'Singles'. The scene between Campbell Scott and Bridgette Fonda.

I have a feeling the conversation took place between two males. If I remember correctly (which is doubtful) it was an American gangster-type movie, perhaps with Al Pacino or Robert De Niro, telling a younger lad.
